Cheese and reflections

Our granddaughter has developed a real love of cheese and not just any old cheese, she knows many different kinds and knows what she likes. (Probably as a result of time spent in France.) So where better to take her than Thornby Moor Dairy where she was able to talk to the lovely lady specialist cheesemaker and taste all of her range. Of course we bought a selection and then watched some of the process of cheesemaking that was going on.

Then we went to the nearby Crofton Lake and walked around the lake with the dog. A lovely afternoon and the trees were in glorious colour in the sunshine. The reflections were astonishing. Alice was collecting leaves and taking photos in preparation for an art project she is doing.
