Monty

We woke to sunshine and warm temperatures and reasonably clear air.
A short drive took us to our first beach of the day - Caspar Beach - where we saw an egret, an osprey, a kingfisher, gulls, and cormorants. We also saw a seal or two bobbing in the calm waters of this little cove. For a little while we were the only two people on the beach.
Lunchtime approached so we headed to Fort Bragg and North Coast Brewing's taproom for lunch and a flight of their beers.
Once done it was time for our second beach of the day - Glass Beach - where we beach-combed for the exact sea-glass we wanted, greens, blues, amber, and pearlescent.
The entire area as busy with crows, squirrels, and seals. This one sounded like a Monty Python "woman", which amused us both.
We weren't sure whether the power in the area would stay on for the evening so headed back to Caspar Beach for the sunset.

We gambled on Mendocino being a large enough town for things to continue so we went to Patterson's pub for dinner. It was very busy so we took a sharing table and met a very pleasant couple and chatted amiably.
