The house at the end of the canal

People sometimes think it's a pub, but actually it's a lock keeper's cottage. It would make a great pub, but fortunately, the Clachnaharry Inn is nearby. I needed a seat there today after buying a new laptop in a well known store. It was a bargain price, then the chap informed me that I would get a further 20% off. He sat me down at a table, and then kept disappearing, returning at one point with sheaves  of barcodes. This went on for so long that I wondered if he was trying to wear me down, and make me give up on my bargain purchase. It was the display model, hence the reduction. I can't get it until tomorrow as they have to take their software off it.
