Blue skies and geese

A cold start to the morning but bright too. We took David back to Dingwall with some more of his ‘stuff’. It was lovely having him at home for the weekend :)
Down to Ferry Point which was looking fantastic with the tide in and blue skies above.Hundreds of geese flew above our heads. The heron waded along the waters edge, a cormorant sat on a twig drying it’s wings and a duck, possibly a golden eye was fishing between the poles at the end of the river.
There were a few dog walkers around and the man who looks after a little wildflower area was there with his dog.I was amazed that the poppies were still in bloom.
On to Tesco to buy dinner and the things I needed for Brownies.
Home to get an early dinner as Mike’s out tonight and has blood doning before hand.
We had a Spooky Harry Potter session at Brownies with Story telling by torch light, which was hilarious. We made satsuma pumpkins , decorated gingerbread men, made a golden snitch with a Ferrero Rocher , a pet owl ,Apple bobbing and a game of Quidditch. Great fun :)
Home again to watch Autumn watch and an early night .
