Homeward bound

A damp and murky day. We've had a man cleaning our soffits (oo er missus) in preparation for cleaning the roof and eventually painting the house. He was in full sou'westerly gear but still a very cold and wet job. The soffits are sparkling!

I made the Christmas cake and everywhere smells delicious, looks good too.

The rain eased off to drizzle and this is the view as you set off round the circuit, the beech trees just shedding their leaves and a glimpse of the tin pub at the corner. The figure in green is Himself returned from his lap - we went out separately as I was on cake watch. He's just passing the little boreen that leads down to Kitchen Cove.

The extra is on the homeward path.

Thanks to bobsblips for the wide wednesday challenge of path or road.
