Halloween Fright

We woke up to an early morning phone call from a neighbor telling us that a brush fire broke out near our home in Simi Valley. Within two hours it has consumed 1,400 acres.  Fixed wing aircraft, helicopters and fire crews are keeping it at bay.  So far only brush has been destroyed, but 6,000 homes are on its edges.  We evacuated and are staying at our daughter's house near the beach.
