Corstorphine Hill Tower

Faffed about this morning being indecisive about where to go that I ended up taking the bus to Corstorphine Hill Wood. Had a good walk around, meeting plenty dogs, loads of wood pigeons, the buzzard being mobbed by the crows & getting in the way again of the sparrowhawk after a pigeon.

The gate was unlocked so could have a walk around the walled secret garden too, just wasn't warm enough to sit long.

This is the Corstorphine Hill Tower at the top of the hill which is a memorial to Sir Walter Scott. There is a great view all across the city of Edinburgh from the top. Built 1871
