Arugula Pesto

Arugula pesto with squid ink pasta and shrimp (I didn’t realize I was out of regular pasta), turnips, and brie. Wine: Kirkland Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2017.

I’ve made this pesto several times before with milder store-bought arugula. Alas, our delicious CSA arugula is too strong for this use... I’ll be sticking to using it for salads going forward. The turnips were tasty, and the wine was very good and an excellent value.
