Road works

It was another long day for hpx. As my bus traveled home through a part with major road works, a southerly front arrived. Signs flipped and flew, and debris from fields cartwheeled with alarming speed. I slid below the level of the bus windows as it rocked in the wind gusts, just in case anything hit the bus.

I was pleased to get home.

The wind dropped and I headed out to get petrol and get a couple of things. I use a cheap self-help fuel stop and nearly froze in my skirt and bare legs. 8 degrees but the wind chill made it feel colder.

Today's gratitude: For shelter from the storm.
