Sunset in New Port Richey, Florida

Oh my!! Arrived in New Port Richey to a hotel that looked nothing like advertised or depicted in the photographs online - after a lot of argy-bargy I secured us an upgraded room at no extra cost (minus dead cockroaches, bare electrical wiring, grubby linens, holes in the walls and stinking-of-fish trashcans!! And this was a reputable hotel chain not some fleapit motel) - definitely wishing we had stayed in St Augustine!!!!!!!

The best thing we found here (aside from a very good meal) was the stunning sunset we witnessed both near the Marina and then a speedy drive to the waterfront (and a empty lot where we could actually see the ocean) to hear (but not see) a thunderstorm greet the darkness.
