Stella

This is Stella- a female Paradise Shelduck who has returned to my friend's home. She was raised by my friend with 15 others last Spring. They were all successfully released and not tamed at all. This lady came back, and has taken up residence on my friend's front lawn. She isn't tame, but enjoys a scratch to her head, but we mustn't try and pick her up. She chatters constantly, and makes a lot of noise if visitors arrive. A great watchdog. Her feathers are so beautiful.
