Autumn in the city

Went down into the city yesterday; l meet up with an old friend and we spent the day wandering around the old back streets. They say that there are no roads in the city of London, and it is true - there are lanes, streets, alleys, closes, ways, places, markets - many of which suggest the activity which would have been carried out in former times eg Fashion Street, Brick Lane, Bell Street, Gun Street. So interesting, my friend's app said we walked 12,450 steps.
