Rosemarkie Beach

This is the east end of the beach at Rosemarkie. Its about four miles east of Avoch which I showed yesterday. This is very popular in the spring and summer with holidaymakers. It has a mobile caravan park set on grass next to the beach at the south west end of the village. Also Dolphins can be seen from Channory Point at the end of the peninsular that juts out into the Moray Firth. On the peninsular of land sits The Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club. The climate can be pretty mild through the summer months for visitors. The village also has some good eating places. All in all a good place to visit.
The tall mast in the distance to the right of the picture is the Rosemarkie Television mast covering the highlands of Scotland.
