Halloween!!!!!!

As usual Zebedee went to town, this year more than ever carving pumpkins for three days, decorating the front garden with cobwebs, once people approach the house and dad to knock on the door they were greeted with smoke, eerie music and Zebedee as a fully fledged zombie with white eyes! There were children actually crying and dropping their sweets and masks in fear and running away, perhaps we should’ve had some sort of warning? Although there were tears people absolutely loved it, a real immersive experience for them all.
We had Kaitlyn and her nanny Jaydi here, they are Australian And have never experienced anything like it, in Australia like America they just dress up as anything, not particularly anything scary, round our way there are lots of children and everybody really dress up and goes for it, they loved walking round our closest streets and seeing how much effort people had made and being able to trick or treat all the neighbours.

We also had Emma here and Max’s brother Conal, Erin came after college at about eight, her mum made vegan sausages wrapped in thin pastry strips to look like mummies with eyes and stuffed yellow peppers with pumpkin faces carved into them! I made a vegan chilli and baked sweet potatoes, there were pizzas and of course far too many sweets!

When K and J had gone we watched a gory movie called the cottage.
