Green and gold

Drove to Heathrow today to meet a friend arriving from Canada. She left behind her a chilly Ontario with snow forecast for tonight and trees already bare of their leaves. Here in Kent we still have a colourful mix of summer green and autumn gold foliage.
But already we’re on countdown to Christmas. They were playing Jungle Bells this morning in a Heathrow Terminal 2 coffee shop ....
