Solar Disk

Not quite what I was after ... I went for a run (including much walking, as it was the first in ages, and I wanted to be sensible, particularly after doing a mischief to my leg a week ago), and as I was coming home, saw the sun as a huuuuuge baleful red disk close to the horizon. As soon as I got home, being unable to get a good angle from our place (trees and such) I grabbed the camera, jumped in the car, and went a minute or so up the road to this spot. In just that time the sun had become yellow and substantially higher.

Still was good though.
