Friday

It's been a busy day.  In fact so busy I ran out of time in the evening and am back-blipping this today (Saturday).

It started with an INR check at the surgery followed by coffee at Nero.  From there we drove to Redditch to see our friends Nicola and Stewart.

They had prepared a lovely lunch and we spent the afternoon chatting.

On arrival back home we had a brief window before going into Stratford. There is currently a Literary Festival and this evening's talk was with Jess Phillips, the Labour MP for Yardley, Birmingham.

It was a full house at the Stratford Playhouse.  The talk, in the form of a conversation followed by questions from the audience, was very good and gave a good insight into her political life and aspirations.

Being a Literary Festival she was promoting her new book, Truth to Power and a queue formed for the obligatory signing at the end of the talk.

So it was quite late by the time we arrived home after taking Maureen, who we met there, home to Warwick and we had to be up early this morning so I had a quick flick through the phone photos and decided to leave blip till today!

The photo is of Jess at her book signing.
