Glen Rosa

Another bike adventure. This time Al, Jill, Murray and Sam and I went up the river at Glen Rosa. The path wasn't the greatest for bikes and became harder the further we went, so we didn't make it to the mountains.

We stopped to admire the view and I had a wee dip in a plunge pool in the river as it was boiling hot by then. The river water was not quite as hot.

Al was airlifted out of here a few weeks later when he came off his bike and jarred his neck on a rock. He got the all clear at the hospital and a free helicopter ride, although he was lying down so couldn't see out the window.
