I've been to a comedy club in South Shields tonight run by Chris Ramsay's best friend, Jason Cook. There was a lot of love in the auditorium for Chris Ramsey. Jason Wrote a sitcom based in the NE, called Hebburn. It is a place on the Gateshead side of Newcastle. Chris Ramsey was the star. His Dad was played by Vic Reeves and his Mam was Gina McKee. Aired a few years ago.
