Aga course

Having acquired an Aga when we moved has provided us with a bit of a challenge. It is quite a different way to cook, there are no heat settings, no on/off switch, several ovens at different temperatures. You do things like cook boiled potatoes in the oven etc. So about a month ago I booked two places on an Aga course. It was amazing what the demonstrator got in there. You can see most of it in my blip. There was cooked breakfast, chilli con carne and rice, salmon steaks, roast pork with roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips and broccoli, quiche, toast, toasted sandwich, steamed pudding and custard, apple sauce and chocolate cake. We got to taste it all at the end. I couldn’t believe how much stuff was cooked to be served at the same time. Very good demo and very tasty food.
