Rose Petals

I’m having fun drying rose petals to make wedding confetti and I already have a boxful.
Mr M bought me the orange roses yesterday and today whilst out shopping today, I saw the pink roses being sold off for 58p, so I had to have those as well. I then chucked out some two week old flowers but saved the pink alstroemerias, white chrysanthemums and some foliage to mix in with the jugs of roses.
As soon as the rose petals start dropping they’ll get the drying treatment, which is one and a half minutes in the microwave between sheets of kitchen roll and bingo - biodegradable confetti :)
