Utrecht

Today we took a 40min train day-trip to Utrecht. There's always such a good atmosphere here and there seems to be many events going on year-round, perhaps due to it being a University city.  There's a big outdoor market on a Saturday, a great shopping mall and many other shops, many bars, cafes and restaurants and all in a beautiful canal setting. I actually think it's my favourite city so far here in the Netherlands.
