the anchor

A church in Manchester, Vinelife, has opened a cafe in the old Whitworth pub which is on the edge of Rusholme just passed the MRI hospital. Mum, Vic, Eve and I went there today and spent a bit of time with a wonderful friend, Catherine, who is running the new venture.

On the wall there is a verse - 'This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls'. Too true.
