Study Blocks

Brickwork is not a great theme but it seems to be recurring a lot here atm. Here in the brewery garden this new apartment block is replicating a fancy style seen around the brewery. This block has been built to accommodate accademics at the brewery's expense. Ever since he started doing well, the founder invested in research and science. He gave his house to the brightest accademic of the day, as judged by his fund. Now these 22 residencies have been added to the house for historians, scientists, geologists and the like. The founder's son gave to the arts, in direct opposition of his father, as he did in most things. Both arts and sciences are now strongly supported now that the father and son are long gone.

The seating blocks in the foreground has directions and names for all the trees you can see when sitting. There are several of these around the garden. All very clever.
