Sunshine through the clouds

It was a beautiful bright morning but by the time I got out to take this picture the clouds were making for some very dull skies. The sun managed to break through for short bursts and I liked the rather dramatic contrast here. 
A lady was throwing seed into the canal and the gulls were having fun diving in to get it in the extra.
