Derelict Sunday

A quiet day with very mixed weather...wind and rain interspersed with some bright sunny spells.

My blip shows the Old Assembly Rooms in Dunbar...the plaque to the right of the door proclaiming it to be a 19th Century Historic Building. The basement was converted to three private flats some years ago, meanwhile the upper storeys are being allowed to go to rack and ruin...why?? Historic Scotland appear to thwart any attempts to get planning permission to convert the building for modern day use...it isn’t the only building in town to suffer this way either!

Thanks to Marlieske for hosting.
