Diwali celebrations

Happy Diwali!! (a day late though, apparently...).
I was in London today to visit my Dad, but also went to Trafalgar Square, where there was a big event celebrating Diwali.
A wonderful thing to see, with lots of smiles and beautiful people wearing beautiful sari' and costumes.
I presume this fellow represents a Hindu god, do please let me know in a comment, but he was great fun and looked fantastic.
