To be close to the trees as they whisper together

Went to the park to feed the birds. It was full of cyclists as there was an event on so the birds were too scared to come down.

Walked through Cottingley Wood instead. It's very quiet as there are never any birds which I find slightly unsettling sometimes when I'm on my own. Birdsong is comforting and reassuring. You can only hear the trees whispering together.

Met Lurkio afterwards in Bingley and we went for a pint at Platform 1 3/4. I like it in there, cracking ale!
