Car trails trials

My first very amateur attempt at car light trails. I foolishly thought that I could hold the camera still for a 30 second exposure by balancing it on the car steering wheel (for information, I was not driving, I was parked by the side of the road!). I should have got out of the car and use my tripod, but I am still a furtive photographer. I get extremely concious when I have my camera in my hand and this is something that I need to get over before I can advance as a photographer. I guess the other problem is that it was a single carriageway road and so the headlights and rear lights are mixed. I'll get better...
