''Almost eating from my hand''

I have now tempted the Finches to eat from a spot on the roof,about 10 feet from my window.Giving me the opportunity to take some of the closest bird shots I have ever had the chance of taking?
With the Nikon D3,the feather detail has to be seen to be believed!
This is one of a series of 40 shots I obtained using both my D3 and D800.The D800 shots had more detail as you would expect,but this was the better composition? Nice to be spoiled for choice!
