The Andrew Buchan

The striking mural is on the wall (Arabella Street) of The Andrew Buchan pub on Albany Road, Cardiff (UK). I used to frequent the pub with a small group of Ukulele players a couple of years ago. A photo of the pub is in the extra.

The pub is named after the Scottish founder of the original Rhymney Brewery, which was founded in 1838. Closed down by Whitbread in 1978, the name was resurrected by the Evans family in 2005, who now run a brewery in Blaenavon, with other pubs in Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare and Pontypridd.
