More candles

I had fun today learning to make better candles with Julia.
She showed me how she uses glass candle moulds, and how the wax had split within! So that’s difficult.
We made some using silicon moulds and these are more successful, as you see. I love the way she has highlighted the bees with gold lustre.
The top tip seems to be pre-dipping the wick in wax, which drives out air bubbles.
We ate some of her various apples from the orchard too.
I have brought home a glass mould to try- we’ll see!!
