Has the novelty worn off?

Actually, no it hasn't.

I had a very frustrating, cranky end to my day today. Thankfully I was booked in for a gym and gossip session with my friend. It was exactly what I needed. I ran off the narkiness. Then I eased my way into the weekend with plenty of laughter (proper northern "laffing" in fact)

I had hoped that by this point in the calendar, all the enthusiastic born-again gym bunnies would've returned to their natural habitat on the sofas of the Home Counties but no, the place was rammed.
