Waiting for Gordo

A trip up town to meet McC the younger in the Cairngorm Coffee place and yap awhile about unimportant business before getting round to music. My young friend keeps me abreast of cool sounds y’see, which I can borrow to enhance Pensioner the brand. Gawain sum’bdy he said. Cooper. Erland!
Then a surprise, organised by the SK when she was still mobile - a trip to a new cinema! With a meal beforehand thrown in. In her Daddy’s old office. Plush. Harry Birrell: Films of Love and War. A great little gem of a film, though Richard Madden’s narration through the long section on Burma does become slightly soporific. I blame the comfy seats. And the heat and humidity, obvs. Can rather flake one out.
