Laser Cutting

This is a friend of mine who runs a local laser cutting company. I happened to meet him outside his workshop so he insisted we have a look at his latest machine.

An amazing bit of kit that makes very small and very accurate cuts in metal. Today he was making some intricate parts for Dyson.

Sound boring?  well actually not as many of his jobs are for the film industry and he made the Golden Snitch in Harry Potter amongst other things. See extra for a small and detail plane he was making for something, it's very detailed.
