Natures very own sculpture

I love this horse drinking sculpture on the driveway (see thumbnail if you can't spot it) I keep seeing sculptures like this everywhere these days and yet this tree has done a remarkable job all by itself.  I think it is a beech not a Horse Chestnut :D

Grey old day.. wanted to be out painting today but the light was soooooo flat l couldn't be bothered.  Also it is rather cold.. a good excuse for a roaring fire.. still not quite succumbed to turning onthe heating.. won't be long
