Griffith Observatory

Since I haven't had time to take a photo today, I am using one from yesterday's outing. This is the beautiful Griffith Observatory observed form Barnsdall Park. From its terraces, you get a fabulous view of the city. 
If you go Large, you'll get a better sense of the scale.
