Morning Light in Titus Canyon

Today's circuit with our Death Valley tour included three destinations: Titus Canyon, the Sand Dunes, and Mosaic Canyon.  The main blip is not far into Titus Canyon, as is the first extra: a lyrical combination at eye level on the canyon wall. The second is a characteristic view at midday in the sand dunes. The last extra is from  mid-afternoon in Mosaic Canyon, showing dolomite which is its key feature, with striking creamy stripes.  Dolomite is a sedimentary rock closely related to limestone, which dominates Death Valley. (The Dolomite mountains  of Austria and Northern Italy are mainly dolomite, but there it is grey.)
