Sculpture by the Sea

There is an iconic seaside walk which runs from the southern end of Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach and on to Coogee along the Sydney ocean foreshore. It is worth taking the stroll at any  time to see magnificent seascapes and wonderful rock faces. It is also excellent exercise.

Once a year for a period of approximately 14 days, Sydney hosts an  exhibition of outdoors sculptures which are placed along the route. Except for the fact that it attracts literally THOUSANDS of visitors each day, it is a great thing to see.

Isbi, Beckett, Chantler63 (visiting from the UK) and myself had a blipmeet there today and a wonderful time we all had. Kathy's husband John also joined us along with Selena from the Blackheath Photo Group.

I have included a heap of extras to illustrate a range of sculptures that I (myself) might have awarded prizes to. There's also an image of Kathy and John.
