Wet, Wet, Wet...

I had to take the car to the garage today and was not looking forward to the drive there and worse, back late afternoon.   However, despite some flooding on the roads it was not too bad and I made it safely.    

As I was a still in my outdoor clothes I decided to see how the River Calder was holding up.  It is very high and had flooded at the back of the Car dealership in Huddersfield.   However, all OK here so far, but you can see how much water there is.   Just as I was taking this shot the Train came along so blip sorted for today.

It has not stopped raining all day and I am glad to be back in the warm.

I hope there will be limited flood damage today.
