where are the songs of spring?*

Back from work and on a short and chilly walk, I realised that the light was fading fast and I'd not taken a photo. So here is one from my phone of one of my favourite oak trees.

Where are the songs of Spring? Ay, where are they?
Think not of them, thou hast thy music too -
While Barréd clouds bloom the soft-dying day,
and touch the stubble-plains with rosy hue.
