The Old Duck.

This old girl is 32 and has lived most of her life at the paddocks where we keep our horse. She was very neglected, never fed, and very suspicious until my wife took her on. Now she whinnies whenever we arrive and rushes up to get her carrots and raisin bread, which she loves. We got permission from her owner to feed her with our horse, and as a result she's put on weight and condition and seems to be quite content now. She's still rather shy and wary, and this expression is typical for her.
