Another world

I uncovered the deserted wasp nest in my compost heap this morning. I'm not sure If the woodlouse are helping to dismantle it or were left overs from the wasps!! Another world that I wasn't invited into during the summer.

This afternoon has been spent dining with good friends at their country club near knole park, Sevenoaks. It's a shame the weather became drizzly and cold but the food, drink, company and outlook were great. Mrs WW drove me home as well so there was nothing not to like:-)
