Hummingbird in January

Out for a walk today during a bright blue sky period.

Just a little nip in the air, enough to make it easy to make believe it is winter.

Then we were buzzed by a hummingbird.

It landed in a bare naked tree just ahead of us.

My little point and shoot is not up to capturing humming birds at a distance.

Still, the proof is there... A hummingbird in January. Amazing.
