Hampton Lucy

We met Maureen and Ian at Dobbies Garden Centre this morning.  M was after some pansies, of which there was an abundance to choose from.

From there we drove to the village of Hampton Lucy and the Boars Head pub.  This is a local, village pub complete with a range of real ales, an open fire and a nice atmosphere.  We had lunch and a couple of drinks before heading back to Warwick.

There is an impressive church in Hampton Lucy, St Peters C of E Church, on leaving the pub we walked over to take a look and I took some pics.

After dropping M&I at home we drove into Stratford for a decent cup of coffee at Nero, the garden centre coffee being expensive and nowhere near Ann's high standard!
