A rose

I only took one photo today.  It has rained almost all day, not particularly hard, but persistently - but during a brief lull I popped out and took this photo of one of our roses valiantly blooming.

There are isolated roses on a couple of other bushes, but this one is amazing in its generosity.

Our garden is no doubt loving the rain.  We're a little fed up - we have outside jobs we want to get on with.  But we consider ourselves fortunate when we look at the flooding in other parts of the country.
