Frond of the Kaituna track

went for a jolly hike with sis today up the Kaituna track as far as the forks, a total of nearly 7k and enjoyed most of it :-). like kiwilizzi i took a couple of pictures of native birds but alas they were not very good due to wrong lens on the camera. Had to settle for this lovely frond instead, i just love the texture of them. By the time i got back from our jaunt my poor right knee was giving me trouble so had to have a couple of pills and a nana nap :-) which did the trick.
