First Frosts

Despite the frost I had some planting of a new strawberry bed to do. Thankfully the soil had been prepared then covered over weeks ago so no frost had got in.
Fingers and noses nipped with the cold. We had a lovely conversation about not putting straw around them as that can harbour disease, but to put other things like bark down. 'So we're growing $#€@&¥£ barkberries are we?', asked Craig. Fair point.

Later a march through the Pentlands and it's still not even 4pm. Beautiful Autumn day.
