Meader; 1 frame at a time

Eye Catcher

This truck caught my eye while driving down the road today, and for obvious reasons.

Not only does it stick out from the crowd with its unique and beautiful paint job and distinguished great looks, but it reminds one of the days when there used to be originality and creativity in automobile designs. Remember the days when it was easy to tell the make and model of a car from a mile away? Remember when each and every car had its own unique and original look and design that also reflected the owners personality and taste? Gone are the days of originality.

Sadly, in this day and age when corporate espionage reigns supreme along with hack jobs of yesteryear's styles and designs as well as cookie cutter mentalities, every car - regardless of make and model - looks just like the other. Even still, consolidation and company buyouts have left us to choose from one basic style - that of a jellybean - when it comes to buying an automobile.

The color, originality, the memories, and the owners taste and willingness to preserve a little flavor of yesteryear are what made this blip today.

A big thanks to him or her from me; an appreciative photographer...
