After the Fire

Such a fantastic and busy day in the Blue Mountains with fellow blipper Hobbs and his fantastic wife, Norma. J and I travelled up from Sydney by train which also necessitated a bus due to rail works. We checked into our hotel (very average) and were then picked up by our hosts and taken on a tour of features in the area.

One area had been badly affected by a bush fire about five years ago. Lots of new vegetation has grown up but the bare, blackened branches spookily reach up into the sky like witchy fingers.

A super evening out with our hosts sorting out the universe and everything!
